1.) Start looking for your tickets 6 months, even a year in advance of your trip. It is usually the case with most airlines that the earlier you book, the cheaper your ticket is likely to be. Do your research, shop around, and look some more!

2.) Flying on the weekends is almost always more pricey than riding during the middle of the week. You can actually save a decent amount of money by buying ticketsin the middle of the week (Tuesday – Thursday). Who cares what day you actually arrive in Europe?
