Every single person desires to be educated. Even those who think they hate going to schools have an inner desire to be enrolled. Nowadays, younger ones are easily tempted to earn money and show off their capabilities even without achieving higher education. That’s what they think will lead them to a brighter future, which is the complete opposite. There’s still that feeling of fulfillment when one completes education. I have a friend who I think is a best example of a person who’s hungry to be educated. We grew up together in a small town and I have seen him creep to earn money to live. He envied me so much as I have completed my education without questions. Of course, with hard work and support given by my parents, it wasn’t impossible to achieve. What’s worst in his situation is, he gets to be denied in any job he’s applying because he doesn’t have a good educational background. As he craved for education, I remember him telling me “can I go to school and collect unemployment?”. It was said with anger and weakened ego, wishing he could buy out those people who ignored him. As what they say, God doesn’t give out everything. Although he wasn’t lucky to have a successful career, at least he has his family to support and love him through out his life.
